the web of life
the spider weaves its web of life
and then sits idly by
waiting there with bated breath
perchance to catch a fly
soon the fly comes buzzing by
to be trapped in the web
and turns the woven web of life
into a web of death
thin lines are drawn tween life and death
so fine as can't be seen
and as for you and I, my friend
we're dangling inbetween
